WILD OLIVE GUEST FARM lies in rugged fynbos lands alongside the sleepy Goukou River which is perfect for swimming and canoeing. The fynbos rich hills are perfect for hiking and bird watching.

Visit the two spring-fed dams tucked in the kloof and take in the wonder of the bushman cave sites.

We are a place of birdsong, peace and tranquility. Down on the riverside is a tree house nestled in an ancient milkwood tree grove with its own private jetty. The farm is working towards self-sustainability. There is an organic olive grove to walk through on the way to the river. Visit the permaculture gardens and pick your own salads. Free ranging chickens provide fresh eggs and fresh farm bread can be ordered.

The two open-plan wooden chalets sit on the slope overlooking the olive trees and river. With their own indoor fireplaces, these cosy chalets are perfect for those crisp winter days. Each has their own private outdoor braai area under milkwood trees for eating under star-filled skies listening to the nightjars calling. Summer or winter these chalets provide all the home from home touches for your comfort and well-being.

Further back from the river is an historic hundred year old cottage which sits under an ancient apple tree. This two-bedroomed cottage has an indoor fireplace, one full bathroom, an outdoor shower and a large verandah with braai area to enjoy the ever-changing scenery of river views and beautiful sunsets.
