Description
WIND-ROSE GUEST HOUSE is a quiet family orientated venue situated on the gentle slopes of Firlands between Gordon's Bay and Somerset West near Cape Town. We offer spectacular sea views from Cape Point to Table Mountain over False Bay and the Hottentots Holland Mountain Range.

The guest house is situated on 3 acres of beautiful indigenous gardens, and offers 8 magnificent large double en-suite bedrooms opening onto a private terrace where you can relax and enjoy magnificent views and spectacular sunsets.

All bedrooms can accommodate 4 guests with a king size bed and a double sleeper couch. All rooms are air-conditioned and come equipped with wireless internet, satellite TV, bar fridges with mini bar, hairdrier, safe, coffee and tea facilities, toiletries, and ironing facilities. Laundry can be done upon request.

We have an informal lounge / bar area with a full liquor license, where you are invited to socialize with other guests, while being served your drink of choice. The recreational room opens to an outside barbecue area, and is equipped with a pool table for the guest's enjoyment.

Breakfast is served in the diningroom or on the verandah (weather permitting). We offer highly personalized and professional service. Raymond and Kim and their dedicated staff, ensure that all guests are made to feel at home. No request is too large or too small. Every effort will be made to make your stay at WIND-ROSE GUEST HOUSE a memorable one.

Attractions

The garden has 2 private Barbecue pits for the use of our guests and their friends if they would like to entertain. All food and drink can be provided upon request.

Our conference facilities can accommodate up to 25 delegates and comes fully equipped with a , DVD / VCR player, flipcharts, white boards, wireless internet, fax facilities, and a multi media projector. We can accommodate up to six break-away groups without using the garden or outside patios.

We are centrally located in an area that offers beaches, horseback riding, deep sea fishing, waterskiing, diving, whale watching and wine tasting.

How to get there

Take the N2 towards Sir Lowry’s pass and Grabouw. Just before Sir Lowry’s Road to Gordon’s Bay, there is a Shell Gas station on the right. Turn into the Shell Gas Station and immediately in front of you is a brown sign indicating the direction to WIND-ROSE GUEST HOUSE.

Continue 600m on that road and you will see another Wind-Rose Sign indicating a turn to the left. Follow the gravel road for 300m and you will see another Wind-Rose sign indicating a turn to the left. 60m up the gravel road you will come to a Y-junction. Bear right and another 200m will bring you to the last sign indicating a right hand turn. At the security gate press 22 on the intercom for access. Continue 600m down the road to WIND-ROSE GUEST HOUSE on the right.
