RUSTFONTEIN GUEST FARM is nestled on the banks of the Goukou River Estuary a mere 14km scenic meander from Stillbaai. The farm is 630 hectares of fynbos, river frontage, private jetty, kloofs, 800 year old Milkwoods, springs, abundant birdlife, small game and bushbuck.

Sustainability and self-sufficiency are emphasised so the farm has a small olive grove, a vineyard, a small nut and fruit orchard, vegetable garden, a small flock of sheep and a few cattle. Enjoy preserves, fresh eggs, fruit, wors and the first wine and port that has recently been bottled.

The old farmhouse has been renovated for easy country living with relaxed luxury in mind. The house reflects the charm of yesteryear, a sense of nostalgia, with all the comfort of percale cotton bedlinen and a Victorian bath (Bring your own towels).

Throw in a large stone fireplace, al fresco eating under ancient Milkwoods, in a stone courtyard and you have Provence in the Southern Cape!There are six bedrooms and 2 bathrooms sleeping 18 people in total and is the perfect getaway for one or more families wanting to spend a memorable time together,to be outdoors, experience nature, listen to the silence, gaze at the stars, swim in the river or hike into the everchanging scenery.
