Fish Hoek has a mile long white sandy beach on the shores of False Bay that is safe for bathing and surfing. Alternatively, you can spend your day in the surrounding mountains where there are numerous hiking paths and caves. A visit in September will provide you with endless entertainment when the Wales come into False Bay to calve and mate. Within ten minutes drive of Fish Hoek, is a large colony of Jackass Penguins. These fascinating creatures give hours of pleasure and are a great tourist attraction.
Fish Hoek is an ideal base for visiting all the major tourist attractions of the beautiful Western Cape. The famous Waterfront with all the many and varied restaurants, shops, aquarium and Imax Cinema, Table Mountain with its cable way, Cape Point and its Nature Reserve, the world famous Kirstenbosch Gardens and of course the Cape Winelands.

There are numerous restaurants within walking distance of The Budget 60's for those guests who wish to eat out. Guests have access to a number of sporting facilities in the area including the nearby Country Club which provides tennis courts, bowling greens and a top class golf course.
